Brooklyn Love is an American singer and songwriter who aim to touch the world with her charismatic personality and undeniably unique vocals. Born and raised in Hyattsville, Maryland, she grew older and performed in various talent shows and pageants.
She also was a lead vocalist in a local band (Vertical) alongside DMV native Ari Lennox, and in her schools choir from elementary throughout high school. All of this prepared Brooklyn to have the confidence to begin professionally recording and posting singing videos via social media to gain recognition and support from her peers both locally and worldwide.
She has drawn comparisons to artist such as Beyoncé, Mariah Carey and Keri Hilson. Using social media as an important career outlet, Brooklyn has captured the attention of music legends such as Missy Elliott. After creating a great following for herself in the DMV, Brooklyn was granted the opportunity to open up for artist such as Saweetie, Toosii, and Da Baby at Howard University’s highly anticipated homecoming yard fest.
Brooklyn kept her momentum going in January 2020 as she toured various east coast cities such as DC, Philadelphia and New York City to open up for artist such as Wale and Deetranada. 2021 would bring just as much opportunity for her when she was selected to be an opening act in Baltimore for their Summer Jam concert series which was headlined by Future and featured MoneyBagYo, City Girls and 42 Dugg.
In the first quarter of 2021, Brooklyn released her new break out single “Outside” featuring Yung Bleu. The music video has already surpassed 100k views via YouTube. In the summer/fall of 2021 the Alabama native was highly impressed with Brooklyn’s unique artistry and decided to have her accompany him on his 30 city “Moon Boy” tour.
